I am DISGUSTED!!!

Ok, so apparently you can kill 3000 innocent people and not die. You can be convicted of using weapons of mass distruction, and well, that's ok. You can say that you enjoyed seeing the families of the victoms cry on the stand and wish you could be a part of having 9/11 every day, and gee, we'll pay for your food, rent, entertainment, education, T.V, phone and internet for the rest of your life. Ok, why do I even work? Why do I do what's right? What's the incentive for not killing thousands and thousands of americans? Now, all the terrorists will gladly attack us becuase gosh, they aren't going to have to pay. As far as they know we are weak. Great! I guess since he was willing to fly one of the planes he doesn't mind dieing, but I don't want to support him. I don't want my tax dollars making sure he lives. I would rather he get exactly what he wanted... DEATH. Sure, prison isn't great, and he'll probably have to be in solitary for the rest of his life, and hopefully he will be miserable there. How can we have such weak people in our country, they don't want to force people to be responsible. They don't want the backlash of their decision. I am completely fed up with the left in this county. How can they allow this man to live? If he doesn't deserve to die we might as well get rid of the death penalty because it'll be very hard to commit worse crimes then that.

And to end I must say I actually agree with Zacarias Moussaoui on something, as he left the courtroom he clapped his hands and said "America you lost" He's right. Here are a couple of images for those that forgot what that day was like. Soon I will blog my memories of that day.

Cool books, Politics, and Rock Stars!!!

This is turning into the once a month blog. Hopefully I can fix that. Right now the things that are going on in my life are Cool books, Politics and Rock Stars. You never thought those things would go together huh? I am reading some great books right now. It's a series of books by Neesa Hart. They are based on the Left Behind books with characters you will know. All of the major political players, like Nicolae Carpathia, are included. The differance is that while the LB books are more global, these books are more local to the US and Washington DC particularly. If you like the Left Behind series you will love these.

Now, reading these books has got me thinking about the current state of American politics. Those that know me know I love President Bush and I love that he is putting very vocal Christians in top positions at the White House. But, what would happen if the Rapture happened today? What would the political situation look like here in the US with most of the top officials gone? Just another reason that I am glad that I won't be around to see that. And it does give you something to think about huh?

Now, on to Rock Stars... doesn't really fit in with this blog but I wanted to brag that I got to see Switchfoot on Friday. GREAT SHOW!!!! I'll have pictures posted on my website (when I get it back up) soon. If you haven't heard them check out their music at www.myspace.com/switchfoot

And, I promise I will post more often!

I can't wait to read my Bible.

Wow, I do love reading the Bible but I have never been this excited about it before. I am reading a book by Terri Blackstock called Word of Honor. (She is AWESOME and I TOTALLY recommend this series to everyone.) One of the characters in it is kind of having a personal spiritual crisis. It's about Convenants and our Covenant with Jesus. This got me thinking aobut my covenant with Jesus, and what it means. So I deciced that when I get a chance, I'll do a study on covenents in the Bible. Now, If you read Julies blog too, then you know she talked about Elisabeth George and her letter that she wrote. She called it her covenant with God. I just read it a few mins ago. It's like God was throwing bricks at my head telling me to wake up. Did you notice how I wrote that "When I get a chance I'll study on covenants" HELLO!!! I'll see if I can make time for God in my busy life. WHAT A MORON I AM. So after reading Julies blog I realized that maybe God doesn't want me to work Him into my life... maybe He wants me to work my life around Him. So now I am really really excited to get home to my Bible. (Why did I stop bringing it to work with me?) I may post on it when I do it, we'll see.

Most of you probably know I'm not what you would call a Barbara Walters fan. Ok, that could be the understatement of the year. She has never ever, not even once showed anything but a liberal bias in everyone of her shows. If someone can find one quote to prove me wrong, please do. So needless to say I was a little concerned when I heard she was doing a special on Heaven. And good old Barby didn't let me down.

One thing I laughed out loud at was the only two people she showed as having a "purist" view on Heaven, i.e. if you didn't believe what they thought then you were not going to Heaven, was the Islamic Terrorist and the evangelical Christian. The parallel couldn't have been drawn any clearer if she had come out and said "Christians and Terrorists both close minded religions and should both be abolished." She was clearly showing that Christians were just as bad as the radical Muslims because we both condemn non-believers to hell. Well, yeah, but we don't generally help 3000 of them get there in one day like they do. But, one thing that she couldn't change was the look on the face of Ted Haggard when he is answering the question of whether non-Christians are going to Heaven. You can see a clear look of compassion on his face. I have yet to see the same concern on any Islamic Terrorists face.

In Ladies Home Journal she says that""There were things that . . . Amused me like the whole business of the 72 virgins who are created for men." Ok... Barby is "amused" by the Islomoterrorist that kill people. Yeah, I can see how that would be "amusing" Oh, wait... I was thinking of tragic not amusing... My bad.

Barby then makes the false comparison of Christianity as a sexless religion to the 72 virgins in heaven for Islam. Huh? She seems to forget that there's that little step of mass murder before Heaven. "And in the Christian religion, the idea is to have a pure life that's happy and content without sex. According to Islam expert Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, sex for Muslims is part of the joy of heaven." Ok, now I am no expert on Christian sex, but I think most of my married friends would disagree with the idea that to be a good Christian you have to live a contented life without sex. What was that part of the Bible about be fruitful and multiply... Oh wait.. We should be cloned to multiply right?

So, needless to say, I was not happy with the show, nor was I surprised. Oh well, so's life.
